Vegetable Cultivation
The vegetables and greens from Casa Iuorio are grown following the principles of sustainable agriculture, respecting the natural cycles of the land and the seasons. The seeds come from native varieties, and the crops thrive in healthy, natural environments without the use of greenhouses or other intensive farming methods. This is also part of our commitment to promoting local biodiversity.
Our crops are cultivated in open fields without chemical agents, in our lands in Palomonte (SA). Harvesting is done by hand, without the use of mechanical equipment.
Processing
After harvesting, we at Casa Iuorio personally handle the transformation process in our on-site farm laboratory—a large kitchen in the heart of the fields, fully certified according to health and hygiene regulations.
The vegetables are carefully selected, choosing only the finest and perfectly ripe ones, then washed under running water and prepared by the skilled hands of local women who have received specialized training. Everything is processed immediately after harvesting. Even the jars are hand-packed, right down to the labeling.

Once opened, the jar can be stored in the refrigerator at +5°C for up to 1-2 weeks.
